Scouting it out and playing it safe when it comes to electricity!

In November John Tegler from our Member Services gave a couple of Safety Demonstrations to our Jesup and Rowley Cub Scouts. At the Rowley demo, we even had a few parents asking John questions – it was an educating experience for all and good safety message to remember when around power lines and electricity.

For the Farm Bureau Women’s Group
September 16, 2003

John Tegler, one of our three Member Service Technicians presented a high wire/high voltage safety demo to the Farm Bureau Women, in LaPorte City. Approximately 40 women were present. The Farm Safety display was well received and the ladies were able to see firsthand, the safety equipment that the linemen use in the field. This demo is also shown at the local school safety fairs.
